New Music for Strings 2017: New York

NMFS showcases a roster of world-class musicians alongside accomplished student participants, ranging from members of the Emerson String Quartet and faculty from Royal Academy of Music in Aarhus to graduate students from top conservatories and universities in the U.S. and Europe. The 10-day festival features twelve events—including six concerts, three masterclasses, two lectures and composition pre-festival workshop for high-school students.
